Child Performer Trust Account

Minors who work and/or perform in New York State and are required to open a locked trust account can do so at ActorsFCU. There is no balance required and no maintenance fee for this service. Options include Savings Accounts and Certificates of Deposit. As funds are accumulated, a vast array of investment options are available through our Financial Services Program, an in-house investment service with Royal Alliance Associates, Inc., member FINRA / SIPC.

The following items are required to open a Child Performer Trust Account:

• Copy of the child’s birth certificate
• Child’s Social Security Number
• Trustee’s Social Security Number
• Trustee’s government-issued photo ID

Please Note:  As a Child Performer Trust Account, the funds deposited into this account are locked and unavailable for withdrawal until the minor reaches 18.  There can be no exceptions.
