Check Endorsement Guidelines

Please be sure to familiarize yourself with our new check endorsement guidelines below.  It is important to know that how you present (i.e. deposit) the check, determines how you should endorse (i.e. sign) the back.

 

Checks Deposited with a Teller

1. Sign your name on the top line

2. Write the account number you'd like the check to be deposited to

 

Checks Deposited Via eBranch-to-Go

1. Sign your name on the top line

2. Write "For remote deposit only at AFCU"

3. Write the account number you'd like the check to be deposited to

Checks deposited via the ActorsFCU mobile app require a restrictive endorsement to protect you and the credit union against the possibility of fraud.  While many checks have a checkbox with instructions to "check here for mobile or remote deposit," this is for your recordkeeping purposes only.  Checking this box is not a substitute for using the proper mobile deposit endorsement as shown above.
