Who is Actors Federal Credit Union?

Actors Federal Credit Union (ActorsFCU) is a not-for-profit financial co-operative. We serve 150+ groups in the arts and entertainment industries, so there's a good chance you already qualify for membership! Some of our biggest membership organizations include the SAG-AFTRA and Actors' Equity Association.

What are the benefits?

Like a bank, we offer a full suite of financial products and services such as savings accounts, checking accounts, mortgages, HELOCS, auto and personal loans, and credit cards. Unlike a bank, we charge fewer fees and offer the most competitive lending rates possible.

ActorsFCU maintains four offices between New York City, Chicago, and the greater Los Angeles area. Additionally, ActorsFCU members can access their accounts at nearly 5,000 shared-branch credit union locations and 30,000+ surcharge-free ATMs nationwide; that's more locations than some of the largest banks offer!

9 and 11- Month Special Certificate Accounts: Keep your money safe and secure while it grows. Lock in rates that are among some of the most competitive nationwide!

Coogan Accounts: ActorsFCU is among the few financial institutions that can provide what you’ll need, with everything in place to accept direct deposits into these accounts. All you have to do is set up the account and notify the employers.

What makes ActorsFCU different?

Unlike a bank, the credit union is owned by its members, rather than shareholders. Our co-operative business model and not-for-profit status allows us to work in the best interest of our members, opposed to the bottom line. As long as you maintain a balance of at least $100 in your savings account, there are no monthly or annual fees to worry about. Also, we have a closed membership which means only members of approved groups and their immediate relatives are allowed to join.
