Card Protection Features
Personal Identification Number (PIN)
You are assigned or may choose a 4-digit code (PIN) to be entered for any PIN transaction. Never disclose your PIN to anyone. If you think your PIN has been compromised, Member Services will change it anytime you like. You just have to stop by one of our offices and they will take care of it for you.
Card Activation
Cards are shipped to you in “inactive” status, with an assigned PIN sent separately. You must call a toll-free number to activate your card, using information known only to you.
Card Verification Values (CVV)
The 3-digit CVV security code following the signature panel on the back of your card is requested by merchants to protect transactions on the Internet, by mail or fax, or over the phone.
Expiration Date
The expiration date embossed on your card must match the expiration date on file for your card.
